Is NexTurn a board game timer?
It can support timed turns, but the core job is turn tracking: showing whose turn it is and making handoffs clear.
The NexTurn Tabletop System is a wireless board game turn tracker that shows whose turn it is with glowing tabletop nodes. Each player gets a rechargeable button, so your group can keep turn order moving without passing a token, checking a phone, or asking whose turn it is.
Most tables already have enough to track: cards, resources, combat, phases, scores, table talk, and long-term plans. A visible turn order system removes a small but constant interruption from the table.
NexTurn uses physical nodes because the problem happens in physical space. A phone app can track data, but a glowing tabletop node makes the next action visible to everyone.
The system is most useful for regular board game groups, strategy games, campaign games, larger tables, and games where turn order changes through rounds, phases, ages, or player-driven effects.

No. The companion app is for setup and advanced modes. The turn handoff happens at the table through the nodes.
Plan on one node per active player. Four nodes cover many groups, while six nodes fit common larger game nights.
Finished hardware is the main purchase path. DIY digital files are available for makers who want to build their own nodes.
