Color Palette
Color Palette stores reusable named colors so lighting setup stays consistent across effects and sequences. This allows easy editing in one place even when it’s used in multiple actions. Color Palettes can also store multiple colors each which are used by some effects.
UI path
Open Configure > Lighting > Color Palette.
What this section controls
Use the palette for colors that appear repeatedly, such as success, failure, idle, warning, team colors, or show-specific accent colors.
Controls
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Palette entry | A reusable color slot that can be referenced by lighting tools. |
| Name or label | Gives the color a readable purpose, such as Idle Blue or Solved Green. |
| Color picker/value | Sets the actual RGB color used by the controller. |
| Add/remove entry | Expands or trims the set of reusable colors. |
How to configure it
- Open the Color Palette section.
- Add entries for the standard colors used by the prop or room.
- Name each color by purpose rather than only by appearance.
- Pick the color value.
- Reuse those colors in pixel effects, light sequences, and behavior actions.
Practical guidance
Keep the palette small and intentional. A palette is most useful when it prevents several slightly different versions of the same red, green, or blue from appearing across a game.
